Once upon a time, long ago, a small fig tree sapling was planted as a food source for the first settlers of Kangaroo Island. Now, 120 years later, its colossal gnarled limbs and shimmering leaves have formed an enchanting dining location.
On arrival, you will be welcomed by your hosts with a Kangaroo Islands Spirit cocktail and a selection of canapes. You will then be invited to venture through the leafy entrance of the majestic old fig tree where it will open up into a collection of natural ‘living’ rooms, each decked out with stunning table settings ready for you to experience a magical feast of the senses.
The food experience is positioned near Snellings Beach, only a 10-15 minute drive from our cottages.
